A Christmas story for Liliana

Here is how a story called "Liliana and the Desert Music Box" might begin:

Even in the small desert town, Christmas Eve sparkled with paper lanterns strung between cactuses, casting warm, dancing shadows on the sand. Liliana, nestled on her porch swing, loved watching the lights flicker against the inky sky. A whisper of wind carried a faint, silvery jingle. *Jingle-jingle-JINGLE.* It was too high-pitched for the wind chimes, too melodic for the desert bells. She followed the sound around the side of her adobe house, peering into the shadowy landscape. There, glinting under the pale moonlight, was a tiny, intricately detailed music box, lying half-buried in the sand, playing a tune she’d never heard before.

What happens next? Liliana unearths a magical music box in the desert, and its enchanting melody sets her on an unexpected Christmas Eve quest.
